for me i would pack my glock 19 9mm with speer gold dot +p hollowponits or hornady critical defense with my galco tuk n go holster..what would you pack if we could get conceal carry permit in california easier??

I usually have my PM9. Colder weather (more layers of clothing) means I bring my P228.
My shorts and t-shirt weather carry fave is my P238 in a pocket holster.

For me it depends. For casual carry with out being threatened due to my job I'll pack my S&W 640 with a couple of speed strips.

Cold weather = SP2022 in 9mm

Warm weather = LCP

Most days, HK P2000 SK (.40S&W) LEM, with DPX. This time of year when the weather allows me to get away with it, in a Galco Miami Classic II, and in the warmer months, IWB in an MTAC.

Option # 2 and #3 are a SIG P229 (357SIG) and SIG P220 Carry (.45ACP) both are DAK triggers.

Hard to choose

G20 w/ galco 228 running Hornady 180 gr xtp's... Though I do like the Kimber running w/ Hornady 185 gr FTX's out of a Safariland 568 paddle it's hard to choose... somtimes I feel more comfortable with the Glock...

For work, or with semi minimal treat areas:
Spring Xd 40 subcompact with Hornady Critical defense 165gr 1175fps
with a leather IWB holster

For daily carry, this is a tie, i'll switch between the three:
1. Kahr pm9 with speers gold dot 124gr short barrel with pocket holster
2. Ruger LC9 with speers gold dot 124gr short barrel with pocket holster
3 Springfield Xd40 subcompact with same setup as above.

For cold weather, this is a tie as well, i'll switch between the two
1. Springfield Xd45 service with Hornady Critical defense 185gr 1000fps with crossbreed supertuck ITW holster
2. Glock 21 with hornady Critical Defense 185gr 1000fps with crossbreed supertuck holster

But all in all, I tend to either reach for my Smith and Wesson 637-2 airweight or Springfield XD40 SC.
