Why in gods name would you add a mag disconnect to a 1911... it wouldn't be a 1911. The series 80 firing pin block does add something, however it doesn't actually change the function of the 1911. A magazine disconnect would indeed change the function of it.
Besides, with SSE becoming so commonplace, it'll be easier and easier to challenge the stupid roster(especially since it considers older guns still on it to be "safe" without a mag disconnect and LCI even though new additions require it).Comment

Redhemi - rimfire pistols don't need a magazine disconnect safety.Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.
