I would love to do that. But I wouldn't want to screw up the grip on my expensive pistol.

You can reduce the risk of completely botching the job by using a modified iron tip. Find a screw with threads that match your iron's shaft, then take a dremel tool, or hack saw blade and cut a criss-cross pattern in to the head of the screw. The resulting pattern on the frame will be much more regular and depend less on how good your stippling technique is.

I just put a glockworx magazine release on my G17. When I saw the piece initially I was sure it would interfere with my grip because of how far out it protruded but I'd handled it a whole bunch and I don't even notice it.

Yesterday I took a little 320grit and 600 grit to some rough/sharp spots

Magazine release and the Beavertail
MUCH MUCH BETTER
10minutes of some light sanding greatly fixed that

Here's My Mod on my G19.

- Night Sight
- Stainless Guide Rod
- Titanium Plunger
- Titanium Firing Pin
- All Springs replaced to Wolff
- Polished Feedramp
- Polished internal parts
- Polished Trigger Connector (I didn't replance my connector to 3.5# and It is about 3.5~4# with mirror polishing itself)
- Replace Trigger housing with Trigger Stop
- Grip end cover
- Decal Grip

result.... it shoots better than my $2,500 Nighthawk Custom
