Glock mods

I was wondering what are some typical mods that you guys suggest for Glocks
The glock in question is a Glock 23

I am thinking extended slide release,metal guide rod, and finally a grip filler
This is the first batch of mods at least that is what is planned

I like to add a grip plug and grip tape and that is about it. I have been debating on putting in a metal guide rod on my glock 20.

why does this question keep getting asked.... you bought a Glock not a 1911, you don't need to wast money on crazy mods to make it look tacticool. it will work just fine out of the box, just give it some ammo. if you want a money pit gun to add all sorts of crazy mods to get a 1911 and give me your Glock

If you carry in a holster be cautious of the extended mag release. It sometimes will release the mag while holstering or shifting around if wearing a belt holster.
My stock glock 21 is pushing 10k rounds. Never jammed never failed to feed. Just some militec and mpro and its good to roll. About 6 months ago I got a wild hair and polished the feed ramp oh and I have night sights.

Because.. A glock is like the civic of cars.. Yes, it works great stock... And 9.9 times out of 10, it will work. If i wanted a money pit, I would buy an old 69 coupe and mod the crap out of it.

But, just cuz you don't have to, does not mean you can't. I have a glock 23 and have done some slight mods, and am happy for it. It suits me better than it did stock.

Never wasted any money on glock mods with the exception of sending in the slide to Glock and replacing the factory plastic sights with factory steel sights. Only worth while change I can think of. The other stuff is a waste of money IMO.

Ext mag and slide release. Ghost Rocket 3.5# connector. $0.25 trigger job. New sights.

Depending on your eyes... Every handgun should have a good set of sites.

And a good trigger.

One thing for sure, you don't need a metal guide rod. The stock rod is perfect.

A new connector (4.5 now, used to be called the 3.5. A Glock 34 part) helps the trigger.

Keep the weapon as close to stock as possible. It will run 100% out of the box.
