True, didnt even think about it. That trigger connector is pretty light for carry too, from what I've heard.

Leave it as is with the potential exception of the sights. The more you modify a gun, the more unreliable it will become. I have seen many pistols that are tweaked and they just don't seem to work as well. As for sights, take your time. I tried a number of things before I settle on XS sights. I don't like the light triggers. Should you use it in self defense, it will likely caude you extra grief.

Vickers ext. mag release, factory ext. slide catch, good sights (gold bead front with a black rear if you're willing to go to the trouble ).

The subject doesn't say enough. What do you plan to do with your pistols? That will go a long way towards determining what, if any, mods are "must have".

I'd suggest shooting them for a while in whatever role you intend before you start modding them.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

I need night sights. After thinking about whether if I should keep the gun or not, I decided the gun is pretty damn sweet and easy to hand, I am gonna keep it and install TFOs on it. Even if the brass hittin in the face

No mods needed. Glocks are perfection.

I've never understood night sights.....in a defensive or home defense situation I won't be using sights at all. If you need sights to hit something THAT close, then you should practice more. Much more. In a situation where I'd need to take a longer shot where it was dark/low light and I couldn't see my sights, it's a fair bet that I also can't see what I'm aiming at or at least won't see clearly enough to identify WHO I'm shooting at with any certainty so being able to see your glowing sights is a moot point, that's not a shot your should be taking. At the range, gold bead, white bead or fiber optic is easier to see and quicker to pick up on top of that.

Also never understood the popularity of three dot sights, the two dots in the rear are distacting.....a good front sight that grabs your attention and really stands out with a plain black rear seems to work better for most people. At least it has for anyone that's ever shot one of my guns.

Most defensive shootings take place in low-light situations. Take a combat handgun course that involves low light shooting and you'll see what I mean. Night sights are not going to solve all your problems, they are just one more tool in the tool box for you to use.

In the Glock-mod World, one man's must-haves are another man's garbage.

That being said, my G34 is setup with a V3 Race connector, steel guide rod, skeletonized striker and Wolff springs throughout (competition set). My G19 has a similar setup with normal strength Wolff springs. All my mags have Wolff 10% springs.

<3 KKM barrels. So much beefier on the breech. And 10mm out of a G21 rocks.

Frankly, I'd say buy 1,000 rounds, take class (if you haven't), and practice-practice-practice. Dry fire-90%, range-10%. THEN think about mods. But that's just my opinion.

They don't have to be night sights, but ditch the plastic sights for sure.
