It's more likely that Walmart will "replace the gun" rather than Tula. They sold it to you. Walmart won't even blink about it.

You might be right, I only have experience reloading 9mil with W231 and I know that if you double charge it will overfill and spill out not sure about .40 or .45.

depends on how old the ammo was they were using. tula recalled some .45 a while back due to squib's.

did his buddy have a FTE right before this happened? could have had a squib, then fired into a full barrel

That's a good point, this would cause a catastrophic failure.

I've always paid a little more for quality ammo rather than take the chance of having my guns get jacked up. Pay all this $ for a nice gun, then run bad ammo through it? never made any since to me...

no failure to ejects. no squib rounds. i was right next to it when it happened. it was most likely a double charge.

i have pics coming inbound now.

Its really not the gun or ammo at fault guys. User error, probably due to limp wristing!

silver bear blew the extractor right out the side of my kel-tec p11 once. But never had a problem with my glock, m&p, RIA, p89 ect.... smells like bs to me.
