            They said Glock 21, and yes it's steel cased, but is not an issue in Glock guns.

                                Steel is harder than brass, and less malleable. Should not be an issue.

                                                    Probably because it's generally the .40 Glocks that kaboom more often than the other calibers, if you believe the internets. My G23 kaboomed with reloads but it wasn't as bad and violent as the OP described.
