So what's the difference between glocks?

Im kind of new to handguns and like the title says, what are the major differences between all of the glocks (17,19, etc.)? I currently own a xd-40 and my next handgun will likely be a glock and I'm just curious about your opinion. Thanks guys

Glock was crafted by God, and the others by man.

And glocks differ from other guns in a number of ways. Most notably in
          • grip angle,
          • thickness of the grip,
          • the standard sights supplied
          • materials (polymer/plastic frame)
          • trigger feel

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

Subcompact, Compact, Service/standard, Match, Automatic (yes, Glock makes a machine-pistol).

So mix and match those 5 classes with those 7 calibers and you end up with a few combinations Glock doesn't make.

The G26 is the 9mm subcompact. G27 is the .40S&W, identical dimensions. These are the "Baby Glocks"
The G30 is a subcompact .45ACP. It's slightly larger than the 26/27, smaller than a 1911 Officer's, and holds 10 rounds in it's standard CA or free-state configuration.

And contrary to the "Gangsta Movies".... there is no "Glock Fo-Tay"

What do you mean? "Glock Fo-Tay" is reference to a GLOCK .40 S&W, or in street terms: GAAT.

Also make sure to hold your Glock sideways for maximum street cred.

Ya... but the ganstas all shoot 9mm because it's cheap.

Of course, in 2008, 40S&W was the only thing WalMart had

Even if they got a 9mm they like to say they got a fotay five.

I have a theory that a "gat" is actually the acronym for the tactical cap-popping system G.A.T.: Gun at Tilt.

Can we buy the glock 35? Your link describes it as competition. Based on my limited experience, that means banned here in CA.

California Depatment of Justice website has a CA approved handgun list.
