I really liked shooting the HK45. It was the only pistola we could not limp wrist no matter how hard we tried. I just can't get down with the 10rd magazine. For such a fine pistola it seems a shame it holds so few bullets.
Have you shot an HK with a LEM? Ya it has a lot of no resistance take up but it breaks where it would in SA and to me has a better reset if you haven't tried it you should.

I'll check one out sometime. I've just seem so many people go off about the LEM, it makes me wonder how many of them are doing it for tacti-cool reasons and how many for practical reasons.

        Practical.

Same trigger pull - every time.
No decocker/safety lever to fuss with.

Make sure it is the Light LEM.

          For you HK guys,

I know you can order the HK45 from the factory with the LEM. Do you guys know if the HK45 factory LEM configuration is the light LEM (4.5-5.5) or the heavier LEM (7-8)?

OP, nice gun by the way, I've shot the HK45 before, and it is an awesome gun.

I'm certain you can order it either light or heavy -per your request.

Thanks! As for the ten rd limit. It is not really a concern for me because we (or at least me) can't have them. So I just leave my hi-cap preban mags to my Glock!

Light LEM is Variant 1 Heavier is Variant 2. I wish I could say the same with my P30. First time out I had many FTE stovepipes, & FTL. I didn't clean & oil it after buying it. Guess I need to break it in. My P2000 works like a Champ! Fires anything. It's well broken in though

Tacticool? I dunno. I wont put it on my HK45 because Its cocked and locked like a 1911. Same trigger pull every time and its a single action trigger pull.

I stick with the DA/SA version on the several HKs I currently own---my personal preference---and, yes, I've shot the LEMs.

I will have to look it up...but V1 & V2 LEM are designated for the P2000, and maybe the P30.

When it comes to the HK45's and 45c...the light LEM is V7...DA/SA is V1.

Go figure...that should bake your noodle.
