    Walther PPQ

The PPQ is the new Walther pistol. I checked and know it isn't on the Roster, but has anyone handle & shoot one of these yet. I saw a video review on the trigger system and it looks impressive. I checked on Walther's website and it seems to be coming out with a 10 round magazine, so there is a chance it might come to CA. So, any information or experience on this gun is welcome. Looking to add it on my wishlist. Maybe SSE if the reviews are positive.

no magazine disconnect, and I dont think the LCI passes the "blind man at 50 yards" test that cal DOJ seems to use.

    Single shot it.

The PPQ is an interesting pistol - would love to see it for sale here in CA.

Give Walther a call... I asked them about the 380 and unfortunately they said that there are no plans to bring it to the CA market

I have a XDM bi tone 3.8 and PPQ( both 9mm). XDM used to be my favorite until i bought ppq. i like the grip of ppq it fits like gloves in my hand and recoil is little bit better than XDM( i think..) the fit and finish are perfec. It is my first walther pistol. But I am impressed. what else ? PPQ was cheaper than XDM 3.8 the PPQ was$ 508 and XDM 3.8 bi tone with night sight was $630

p99 mags apparently fit, so no probs with 10 round mags.

i tried to do my mag conversion of the 15 round ppq to 10 round. it worked good on my first time on the range, yesterday it failed so i had to disassemble it and just use the p99 mag. love mine.

When I spoke to Ryan he mentioned getting a second set of "parts" to do the SSE. I don't know if he did or not, but mine was delivered when he said it would be. And I did order a 9mm.

I guess I am second on the wait list. Ryan told me it will be a few weeks wait period before he can send mine to my FFL. He just send out the PPQ part kit out. So, it was to CJJohn. Hoping to get it before Christmas.
