Also any one have any recommendations as far as shops that have a good price on them in Orange county?
If you can get one online for a good price (ie. budsgunshop ) I would only do it if you can find an ffl to do the transfer for a good price (ie. 460 online price + 60 in transfer fees = 520...cheaper than buying new in store) IMO

Oh, another quick thing....if you can get the gun without the gear as some places sell it then it is cheaper....the gear really isnt worth what they charge for it.
    SO MANY GUNS....never enough money

Agreed. Once you factor tax, cost of ammo for due diligence break-in (not that the XDs really need it) and accessories like spare mags, night sights, trigger jobs, extended mag releases, etc... you can save a pretty penny buying used... come to think of it, I did see an XD40SC with all those extras on the marketplace for sale!

I'm not dead set on new, heck my sig was on consignment, though it looked and felt like it had never been shot. New 226 in .40s&w for $750 is kinda hard to pass up. Also looked at an XD40sc in the market place, great price, making it hard to pass up, however I'm really looking for the XD9sc.
