Thanks everyone for the good feedback of both Batteryjunction and the Titanium Innovation CR123's.

I just bought a 12-pack to give a try in my flashlights. Hopefully they can serve as a viable replacement for Surefire's that i use in everything that takes CR123's.

Surefire. I've heard about issues with 123's from China. Its only a few bucks more.

Try again... Surefires are made in the USA (I've heard Panasonic makes them), TI's are made in the PRC.

I've not had any personal experience with the Chinese batteries, but there seem to be some who have had negative experiences. I think I'll just by some panasonics at batteryjunction.

Another thing, make sure U read the specs. Dont just buy based on price.
          Highest rating is about 1500Mah.

I made the mistake (in the past) of buying some 750Mah CR123s cuz they were cheap. Performance was mediocre.

I buy them from digikey, but that just because I order a bunch of stuff from them anyway so once in a while I'll just throw a battery in.

                Battery Junction here as well

I only use rechargeables for my AA and AAA. Eneloops have a great shelf life.
