I jumped on the MC operator when it was $1000 @ buds
      glad I did, it's a great gun.

I noticed virtually everyone that has one tends to change out the grips. Any reason why? I don't particularly mind them.

It was a posting on commercial deals forum here awhile back. sold out real quick as you'd imagine. It was still more than I'd ever spent on a pistol so I was rather hesitant at first.

Here is mine. I just picked it up a week ago.

100 rounds of factory ammo using factory 7 round mag, 10 round Chip McCormick Power + mag, and 8 round Wilson Combat 47D mag. Not a single issue.

Then at one point it hit the Springfield Custom Shop. Springfield confirmed with me that they never made a run of MCs in all Black. They did on a LEO contract, then created a separate model for it.

I only used wison 47d mags in mine, try a different one they are usually the best mags available.

ALso to avoid problems in general, don't shoot reloads in guns you like it's just not worth it, I know lots of people won't agree with this but saving a buck can cause you bad times, pay a few extra bucks and let the pros make your ammo.

Seen too many bad things happen :/

They sell the all black mc operator at proforce. same price as the blk/grn, 1,150 or so. you must be le/military/emt to purchase from them though.

I bought it at ProForce and it was advertised as an all black Operator. After looking at the box though, I noticed the upc tag says its a custom. The upc code is different than the upc on the website also. Not that I'm complaining. Its a hell of a gun and I'd buy it again. Its also marked LEO only.

That's not an MC Operator though. I was shown that model at SHOT when I asked both Springfield booths about mine. My case says "MC Loaded Operator". We have two different models technically.

My case gets beat up everyday
