LOL, I think I will leave to to the pros. Good thing it was only a $8 spring airsoft gun. I was taking a break from reloading, I looked over at my Hakko soldering station then at my swapmeet purchased G18. I just went for it. At least I only did half the gun, so maybe I will do some research and try the other side.

The hard part is actually finding good patern and keeping a good bead going. I personately like to use the tip that looks like a flat tip screw driver. I fell like it gives the most grip.

Why? because it fits your hand much better and feels a lot more comfortable in your hand. It is a fighting/combat gun, not a safe queen gun.

Factory polymer pistols, even with their molded in checkering, are sometimes to slick when your hands are wet -- like when you're sweating in a match or facing goblins.

It works, enhances gripping instead of having a slippery grip.
Skate board grip tape works fine but after a few cleaning and oil gets into the grip tape, it's time for replacement.

I stipple my own Glocks and I also shoot USPSA-IPSC since 1994. And use my G20 for wild boar hunting.
I used to have grip tape on my Glocks plus I still had to use Mueller Stickum Grip Powder because of sweaty hands. After the stippling- I no longer use grip tape nor grip powder.

I use my guns rough and push there limits.
My Glocks are not safe queens that I will worry about selling them in the future. It's meant to be used!!!

Done correctly it can increase grip and look good IMO

Stipling a glock is dumb. Just buy an RTF or Gen4, problem solved and it looks good.
