People that don't undestand it, have you ever trained in the rain? Or even taken a class beyond basic?

Glock had it right with the RTF2 but even that was too rough for some.. When all they needed to do was take a light sandpaper and 10 min to take down the sharpness of it to their liking... RTF2 now discontinued... sadly...

Not sure what there is to "understand" about it that hasn't been clearly stated in this thread. If you feel that the grip is slippery at times you add texture to it (stippling) to make it less slippery. Some like it, some don't, that's about all there is to it.

amazing. this "controversy" is amazing. A good friend is in special ops, trains swat teams, shoots more in a week than most people shoot in a year, and he just sent me pics of his self-done stippling on his G36 CC weapon. He likes it far better than grip tape. When on ops, he wears gloves. He doesn't wear gloves when he's "off duty".

My 1911 is getting wear marks from my carry holster. Oh! My GAWD!

My Millenium Edition P99? I tossed all the "extra" crap. OH MY GAWD!!!

Come on guys. Who cares what you think? If you don't like it, then don't say anything. If you have a technique, join in.

If we all valued the same thing, there would only be one gun to buy.
