These "tests" can be designed to suit any bias (conscious or not) on the part of the conductor. I can probably come up with a test that proves my USP45 and M&P45 will run circles around my 21SF. But I won't because despite the problems I've had with my Glock, I still like the brand and plan on keeping it.

Everyone should own one Glock. If there's ever a need to take only one gun with you because there was a real SHTF situation, you would like a Glock.

My biggest problem with HK is the price. I really did like my HK that I had, but now that I own a Glock, I just don't see the $400 difference in the two guns.

Both good! USP is larger gun and recommended if you have larger hands. And it's a DA/SA hammerstrike semiauto vs a DAO strikerfire semiauto on the G21.
G21 is a bit smaller and lower bore axis which help with recoil. The price difference is big b/ the two. Honestly, I highly recommend an M&P45 over these two. You have the best of all worlds getting this gun.

I respect both of their opinions and others as well, but I have to buy the pistol that works best for me and my situation.
Yup. That's why I'm an advocate of trying both and go with the one you like. Or get both!

Buy a single shot HK45 and convert it to normal after your dros I heard the LEM on the HK45 is even sweeter than on the USP and P2000 series.

shoot both, you decide what feels good and what features you want as both are very different. i own both a USP45 full size, and a Glock 22. i prefer the feel, angle, grip size, sights, the way a fully loaded mag clicks in, option to be DA or SA, safety switch of the USP. I carry it at work. but on the flip side, my Glock is loaded next to my bed as i type. bottom line, get both!

I've owned and shot the crap put of both pistols. Objectively the USP has more options as stage 2 mentioned well. Hk's have never once failed on me except for one improper reload (which jammed up on every single pistol at our firing line). My current G19 is so far the only flawless GLOCK I've owned but that's a different story. Anyhow as mentioned ad nauseum get what fits you best. They are both fine pistols. One last thing to note - on Big-bore's glock test, notice how he racks the USP slide vs. the GLOCKS. The bias is obvious. It's hard to get honest opinions as people feel obligated to support what they own.

Forgot to add, nit sure if this pertains to you but I've switch to a GLOCK 19 for HD use as the USP is too big for my wife to shoot properly.

                                Vote for USP

I went with the USP 45 and have not regretted it. I do have Glocks in smaller calibers and think they are fine guns. But the USP fits my hand better and is built like a tank, which I admire.
