How Much AMMO is Enough??

Just trying to keep inventory on my Ammo stash and starting to wonder how the heck would i carry all this in a SHTF situation? 6 Ammo cans full of 4 different calibers. Maybe bunker down? Maybe take loaded mags to go?

What would YALL say is a nice round number?

Never enough. Well, when you have enough to crack the foundation of your house, i might consider it enough.

Unless you're an extra in a Zombie Movie.

Here in Southern California the only thing that might happen is a Major Earthquake.

In that situation, we plan to stay at home to feed and help others if we can.

As for AMMO...we reload and have plenty.

I don't know how much is enough, but I have a 1000 rounds of .223 en route.

I keep 60-100 rounds of factory defensive ammo for each caliber. I have several hundred, at any one time, of practice plated ammo that I make myself.

My rifle is my primary weapon, pistol is backup.

Although the general consensus is a standard "there is no such thing as too much", I think it varies from person to person.

What I would suggest is what one person replied to "How many guns is too much"......

"When your fear that you do not have enough is replaced by a fear you have too much....that is when you have enough"
