So I checked the DOJ list, and it seems there are three types of P225's that are legal for CA. There's the P225 in blued, and two P6's, one imported by Century Arms and the other by PW Arms (which I believe is no longer in business). Are there any other types of P225/P6's out there that don't fit into any of these three categories? The P225...well, it's a P225, and I was under the impression all P6's were imported, mainly from West Germany. I'm scouring the interwebs for deals, and I'm running into some nice looking ones, but I'm a little hesitant to buy because I'm not sure if they are CA legal or not. As long as the gun's rollmarks state that it is a P225, it wouldn't matter what other stamps (or sights) on it, correct? Same goes for the P6, as long as it has the importer's mark?

Correct. As long as the pistol have the marks the doj says it needs then it is GTG. As for PW Arms they are still in business and are still importing guns. Right now they have imported Yogo M57, P6, and CZ82 in most recent history.Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Ouch. I just picked up the P225-9-Polizei (the "German Police Pistol" version) from TopGunSupply for $807 shipped. Had no issue with my FFL yesterday--can't have it for another 10 days though.
