Problem with my Glock

I went to the range last weekend, and shot about 50rd of .45 out of my Glock 21. And out of those shots, there are about 5 times after the bullet has been discharged but the slide don't feed another round, instead the slide when to lock up position as if the magazine was empty, except there were still bullets in the magazine. When this happened, it was always after after firing the 1st round from the magazine. Anyone have problem like this before?

Sounds like your thumbs are hitting the slide lock kever

Yes, it has been with me for 5 years with about 2000rd down the pipe with no problem until today.

The magazine was my biggest concern, but how do you tell if its getting worn, the spring is still going strong, it has no problem feeding rounds.

From what you're telling us you were shooting 9mm & 45 acp out of your G21?

Change out the Slide Stop lever

Sounds like the spring is weak and bumping up from recoil and locking the slide.

OR...perhaps you recently removed it and reinstalled it wrong.

But in anycase, it is a weak or broken spring problem.

ops, sorry, it was .45 on my Glock 21 I got it mixed up with my M&P9. The ammunition was PMC .45

Sound like you have weak magazine springs causing the follower to take a nose dive.
