The G17 is about 5/8 of an inch longer and one inch taller in the grip
(my 1987 2 pin G17...I have some new sites coming for her so she is naked now) compared to the G19 on the right. Same thickness.

The Glock 20/21 series as compared to the G19/23 series: Here's where you get about one inch longer in length and one inch taller in grip; and 1/4 inch thicker.

But even the large framed GLOCKS 21 and 20 are smaller than a normal Full House 1911 .45. Here's my Series 70 National Match .45 making my Glock 21 his be-awch.
