glock 17 vs. glock 19..??

HD - either one
Target - either one
CCW - 19, since it's smaller
Travel - either one, but the 19 is smaller
Aftermarket Accessories - both pretty much have the exact same parts available for them and are interchangeable between the 2 guns

I love my G19, but honestly you need to shoot both and see which is more comfortable for you.

i am selling a sig225 tomorrow for funds for this gun and the 225 was to small in my hands,my sig pro 2340 and xd45 full frame fit my hands perfectly.

the glock will be smaller then both 17 and 19 i believe .

do they make a mag extension for the 19?? as in just a end cap..

You can only use the +2 mag extension on the 15 rd mags, and they won't work on the 10 rd mags.

If you want a longer grip on the G19, you can get a mag sleeve spacer and use it on a G17 mag. I have the A&G spacer in the picture below (along with a +2 mag extension, but ignore that and it's basically a G17 mag w/spacer on a G19).

I have small hands, the G19 pointed faster and more naturally to me. This is coming from someone who asked the exact same question. I tried both and based my descision on which I shot better

I'd go with the 17 but I'm biased I tend to like fullsize handguns unless its for CCW then I would get a real CCW gun. Like a khar PM9, Sig 238, or 1911 commander with a bobtail or something similar in width Glocks tend to be to fat for CCW IMO.

Exactly. I wouldn't consider the 19 as a CCW. Maybe the G26. Which is identical in size to my SR9c when you compare them side by side, yet I'd still take a PM9 over both of them for CCW. I know a lot of people CCW a G19 but they don't know what they're missing.

I shoot the G17/34 frame much better which is why I'm selling my G19
