Why carry a flashlight? Because bad guys don't only work between the hours of 9am-5pm when it's light out.

When I carry concealed I have the mindset that I may need it in a split second against an attack and a light attachment wouldn't be of much use. On the other hand, if I hear someone trying to enter my house at night and it's pitch dark, an attached light would make a great tool. All I know is that the lighter and easier a gun is to conceal, the better.
A light attached to my weapon will not slow me down enough to matter. I believe that.

A light on a concealed carry gun is a valid investment and I would not underestimate the necessity of using one (if one can properly conceal it).
          I agree.

Will do...I don't think they're making them LC though???

That's the ultimate CCW setup. Right now it would be something like an LCP with a pocket clip. You can shove it in a waistband and go jogging, hell it'll conceal in board shorts, NO t-shirt and flip flops....and I know this first hand.

Most of the time I carry a mid size .40 using an IWB setup. I personally could not carry anything larger or bulkier. Your build, clothing and surroundings dictates what you can and cannot conceal. I would suggest actually trying on your clothing that you would wear in the summer and decide if you can actually carry an X-400 in jeans and a t-shirt. You don't even need a holster, just shove it in the positions and cant that you would normally CCW (or would) in and see how well that X-400 does.

I will tell you right now that you will have a heck of a time trying to carry that setup without looking like some uber-tactical secret agent man every day of the week year round. I bet you did not even think about CCW while jogging or going to the beach with family. And that's the whole point of having a CCW, to have a pistol on you as much as possible in as many places as possible.
I've been CCW'ing for 2 years. My board short weapon of choice a S&W340PD with CT grips...i've thought about carrying while jogging, lol. I carry whenever permitted.

I might too, practically it's a lot of money to spend...I could go either way.

            Yup.

X300 holsters are easy to find, X400 not so much

The crimson trace was mentioned....Why not go with that and the tlr3 from streamlight??? Simular lighting outputs, but the light is MUCH smaller and MUCH more affordable. Crimson trace or lasermax could also be added if need be. That would make it easier to carry, plus give you the added bennifits your looking for.

Let me know if you find one! Although i'm pretty picky about wanting a tuckable kydex setup.

My vote stands at X300 over the X400 on holster choices alone:

I'm still debating on getting a Safariland ALS, Raven or Kaluban Cloak.

LOL...I love your weapon...just called Raven...I made up my mind for unselfish reasons...

                              TLR-1
                              Raven Holster
Crimson Trace Grips in the future...

Here's my reasoning. I'm getting my wife her "own" pistol for Christmas (looks like I have a deal with a member on a M&P9c with CT grips). I also want to get her a light. Buying 2 X300's is not practical, but buying 2 or 3 TLR-1's is practical. I ordered a TLR-1 10 mins ago...should be here tomorrow...Raven order is in process as we speak...
