    Ruger owners unite!

What gives? Ive been hearing a lot a trash talk on Rugers, saying they arent reliable and they are low quality guns, I have owned 3 rugers, A p345 that I sold due to financial issues, a SP101 and a SR9C both of which I still own and are freakin tanks, I have over 1,000+ rounds through the SP101 and of course not 1 problem , I also have over 500+ rounds through my SR9C and not even a Hickup and I havent even cleaned it yet lol. Rugers are awsome guns made 100% in the U.S.A..... so with all that being said am I alone in my love for rugers? lol

Anyone who bags on Rugers about reliability doesn't know what they are talking about. Although their semi-auto handguns have always seemed kind of clunky and plain, every Ruger I've ever shot has been an excellent gun. I have an MKII 22/45 .22lr and a Blackhawk .357. Both are great guns that I won't part with.

Nobody said anything negative about ruger gp100 so far. And that "Made in USA" makes it proud to own.

Most people that complain usually can go back to operator error, not Ruger quality. Good luck

            Rugers unreliable and low quality?
I guess my Ruger pistols are totally unreliable for going bang everytime I pull the trigger.

I have a Ruger Mk II, a P90 and a .22LR SP101 and they all feed and shot all brands of ammo, especially my .22LR SP101, which I use to detect if an ammo is a dud when it doesn't ignite from my other .22 guns.

I like Rugers. I would buy one. My friend has a P90 and it is a tank and shoots well for what it is.

All of my rugers are reliable and a joy to shoot. Not as nicely made as smiths but not nearly the price.

Ya their P series are chunky for sure, but the new SR9's and SR9C's are very slim even slimmer than glocks! take that glock lovers lol they are also very accurate and reliable some people I have talked to say that the SR9 or SR Series rival glocks reliabity, I would love to say thats true but the SR9's havent been around long enough to compare them accurately. I think for sure the SR series is going to make a name for itself I know Im impressed with them for sure. The SR9C is my nightstand gun and I wouldnt have it any other way. I just cant wait till the SR40 hits Kaliforniastan! Oh yea I almost forgot is it just me or do the recoil springs on the 4th gen glocks look a lot like SR9C's? Did the big bad Austrian gun company copy somthing from the USA?

I've got Redhawk .44 Magnum that is as accurate and reliable as any pistol I've ever shot, and a Model 77 bolt action in 7mm that still drives tacks 30 years after I bought it new. I've owned other Rugers and they are always well made, built to last, and deliver every time.

I have owned Ruger weapons since the late 70's and found them to be totally reliable, accurate, and relatively inexpensive. I currently have a P345 and LCR on my CCW. I also have a few Blackhawks, a couple Old Army BP pistols, as well as a collection of #1's and 77's, along with a 10/22 with 17HM2 and 22LR match barrels. Can't go wrong with a RUGER!

My GP100 6" is far the best pistol I own. Better than my S&W4506, Glock17, and my 1911
