I love old ammo and boxes and that looks like it is in great shape, go on gunbrokers and look it up, it is worth more then new ammo due to the box condition.

A lot of guys collect ammo. Looks nice and older. Don't shoot it, find a nice home for it.

Definately looks like '60s-'70s Mfg. I would keep it and buy something else to shoot. Box is in great shape too !!

Thanks you so much for the picture. I feel special. I do have a color 8x11 of the RBCD ammo somewhere.Since we are dicussing 45acp,I have never seen a 45acp pure wad-cutter like the one in your pic.My bad if its not a 45acp.

I loaded up about 50 of them to try with my 1911 and there was no way to get them past the feed ramp and now that i think about it im not sure why i ever thought i would be able to

Its cool,no offence taken. Google RBCD out of Texas . Very interesting stuff. I never thought about the 45 wheelguns shooting the flat wad-cutter. Must be hell to do a quick reload even whith moon-clips. I had a 1911 that could strip empty brass from a mag when you dropped the slide. It could chamber most anything. Terry Tussey did the work. He would even turn a spent case backwards and it would chamber. He is a master pistolsmith. I understand he has slowed down a little. Super nice guy.

Good luck on selling old ammo. I had a bunch of WW1 .45 ball, WW1 German 9mm ball, WW1 US .30 ball, pre WW2 UMC 9mm ball... a bunch of different stuff. Ended up giving it away. No one was interested not even the guys that collect old stuff.
