That is great target ammo. If your pistol is throated well it will be lots of fun to shoot. This is accuracy ammo so maybe bench your gun so you can see how it does.No one arrives in Hell surprised. (St. Robert Bellarmine)Comment

They look like 185gr. wad-cutter ammo. They will shoot nice groups,if as stated before, your 1911 is throated. Bullseye shooters like these because they make a nice clean hole that can be seen from the 25yrd. line without a spotting scope. When Berry's Bullets was in Fontana I would buy the same bullet only in lead by the 1,000's.My 1911 could cycle empty bass from the mag it was that reliable. Back then Tussey had worked on my 1911. He was in Orange County at the time. Don't think they have much collector value but I may be wrong. The boxes are cool looking.Comment

That ammo should be very accurate. I've seen a few 1911s have fits feeding that profile bullet though. Here's the profile of the 185s I shoot.

It cannot be inherited, nor can it ever be purchased.
You and no one alive can buy it for any price. It is impossible to rent and cannot be lent.
You alone and our own have earned it with...Your sweat, blood and lives. You own it forever.

Your are right Mark. But many years ago we called them 200gr.cone,cause they looked like a ice cream cone. That was in the late 70's when Bullseye shooting was at its peak. Thanks for sharing your picture.Comment

I do have a color 8x11 of the RBCD ammo somewhere.Since we are dicussing 45acp,I have never seen a 45acp pure wad-cutter like the one in your pic.My bad if its not a 45acp.
