Well, I HAVE dealt with Ruger's CS and they are top notch. Great people.

My KP90 had mag spring issues out of the box, with FOUR mags. 2 that came with the gun and 2 others.

Ruger "repaired," whatever and had my pistol back in 2 weeks, working fine.

Recently I bought some mag springs & followers. WAY more stiff than stock. I was amazed. I actually have to use the loader that Ruger supplies.

I have had problems with feeding and ejection while using Blazer Brass .40 ammunition before. For years before with different types of factory ammo I had flawless function in my Glock 27. When I started using Blazer Brass, all of a sudden I started having those problems.

The problem may be the ammo you are using so you should try a different brand and see if it functions well.

Did he mention the troubles he had before you traded him? If not, unless there is something missing, that's not cool.

                    Why the cloak and dagger?

Why not answer the question publicly so that someone else can benefit?

Glad you fixed it, in any case!

theres a few links posted already.
i think theyre only like $20 new on midway so thats another option.

to take the mag apart and check your springs follow http://www.wonderhowto.com/how-to-di...gazine-201609/ its pretty self explanatory and very easy to do. VERY EASY! dont be scared to take it apart and do what i did to try and fix your mags.

another tip: dont just grab the ends and yank em apart to stretch them. this will only stretch out one part of the springs. go through the coils one by one stretching them. that way it somewhat evenly stretches out. i stretched mine about 1 inch longer and it works perfectly now.

let me know if you have extraction issues as well i have to adjust my extractor arm too to get it fully functional.

didnt think people would wanna hear more ramblin on this topic since everythings been resolved. theres the pm i sent though. enjoy.

Glad you got it all worked out. Sucks the seller didn't disclose that info. It's a pet peeve of mine. What happened to good old honestly nowadays, especially in the gun community.

When it comes to troubleshooting malf issues there's never too much "rambling" as regards the fix.

Gladf you got it up & running. Ruger needs to lift their game. Obviously they have some real low bidder crap going on with their springs.

The kits I got for my KP90 mags are for the old 7 rd mags. Yesterday I ordered a Wilson Combat spring & follower for an 8rd 1911 (I think). We'll see how that works out.
