So all this talk about the book of eli and your apocolypse guns has me curious, mainly im very bored and I feel like asking a dumb question. If a zombie apocolypse were to happen what would your weapon(s) of choice be? and to give better detail they would be like dawn of the dead (remake) or 28 weeks later zombies meaning they are fast as hell! So with that being said capacity and acuaracy are a must since a head shot would be needed. Also I know some1 is going to say somthing stupid or really serious saying how dumb the question is and you right....but let me ask you this...Who wouldnt want to hold up in a defensable position with your fellow calgunners and blow off some zombie heads...sure beats going to the range for target practice haha.

28 days zombies didn't require head shots, you better hope that if the ZA ever happens they don't require head shots. even then it's going to be very difficult to avoid and fight off swarms if you live in a city.

If they can also move about by day you're pretty much dead, try to get out of town early

Seriously living in the LA area if we were faced w/fast zombies you could'nt shootor reload fast enough to keep them off you.

Ya I know the movies make it seem like it would be easy to survive but being as realistic as possible when on this topic if Z Day were to ever happen im pretty sure every1 would die. Side note there is that new series on AMC coming out on halloween called "The Walking Dead" or somthing along those lines and it looks awsome about a cop his .357 and a butt load of zombies lol thats my kind of movie

What exactly is 15ish rounds? and how the hell does your 870 hold close to that? like a 28 inch barrel with a mag tube to match in length? lol. or some kind of drum mag?

Zombies aren't the threat. A meth head epidemic is more realistic. A guy once shot himself in the mouth with an AK and didn't die, he was under the influence of METH. I've heard several stories like that of people being shot under the influence of Meth and not dieing.

in real life zombies won't need headshots, it will be like killing a regular human.
Depending on the strain the zombies will most likely be as physically capable as they were before they converted. Mentally their ability to problem solve will be terrible, essentially their main concern is feeding..

Zombies are VERY serious. You joke about them, but when they are at your door you stop laughing. Anyway, I'll tell you exactly was I have ready to go come zombies, riots, or Chinese paratroopers...
