    SIG Sauer customer service

I apologize in advance gents if this has been addressed.

Has anyone out there had issues with SIG's CS?

I waited 40 minutes to get through, just to hear, "sorry we don't refinish our

handguns in house"! Is it me or has SIG taken a dive in the gun industry?

There are dozens of places that will refinish your handgun cheaper and faster then Sig would.

Go over to Sigforums and you'll see a lot of complaints about Sig CS as well as Sig quality control in recent years..

WOW! I'm not looking forward to that. I have like 8 Sigs that I was planning on sending in for service.

CCR has a pretty good reputation and posts here. You should be able to find examples of their work in their commercial thread/website.

As always, with the internet, you're more likely to hear the negative.

I've dealt with Sig CS on a few issues and every time the were responsive and quickly assisted me.

Yes, they do send out their guns for refinishing.

Just ask around and find the best place to send them.

I recently had a good experience with them, including getting through on the phone easily.

Go to SIG forum. You'll read lots of negative posts about SIG QC and CS. It's not all negative, but there's an overabundance of it over other manufacturers.

i've had very positive interaction with them the couple of times i called...they were very nice at the SHOT Show too...by the CS Manager didn't want me to post a picture

if you call just a little after they open, it's easier to get through...let them get their coffee and get settled in and they are usually pretty helpful.

are you down on their CS because it took you 40 mins to get through or that they don't do refinishing in-house?
why would it surprise you that they don't do re-finishing?
are you aware that you shouldn't re-anodize the frame, because you'll lose tolerances?

i would highly recommend CCR, they do excellent work and are easy to work with

I'd cut Sig CS some slack. They probably don't get a lot of calls; i.e. their guns WORK! Their one support representative was probably in a deep sleep and accidentally hit the 'ringer off' button by accident when his head hit the keyboard.

Were you asking for the older German made carbon steel slide Sig or the newer stainless steel ones? I thought Sig still do Nitron refinish (not "in house" but can be done through Sig).

Any way, Todd in CC (www.customizedcreationz.com) will be the guy I call if I ever gonna refinish my Sigs.

CCR will be my 2nd choice because they left the clip "spots" on the frame. But their refinish job still top notch.

The only time I had to call CS was to discuss conversion barrels, I was on hold for about 1 minute tops.
