Not meaning to start a debate on grease vs. oil - but I've noticed that many are applying grease to slide rails - which I've never done. In my own mechanical experiences I would think a small amount of moly grease would be ok. What's this crowd doing?

Grease on slide rails
Tags: None -
I started using grease one the rail portions only within the last year or so. I do notice a difference in performance. The slide seems to move more smoothly during hand cycling and firing. I also like the fact that grease wont drip out of the grooves. The only downside is that the grease seems to attract and hold onto more carbon and grit.Comment

I use grease for my metal frame guns, especially my alloy frame guns. Poly guns get oil.Comment
