I jumped on one in OD when my favorite FFL called me up and said "My distributor is having a special for $830 for the standard setup with carrying case, cleaning kit and two extra mags". I didn't even give him time to finish the sentence before I said "I'm in". Came to about 950 or so with Tax, DROS and shipping.

I've since put about 500 rounds through it and its as much fun as I'm allowed to have.

Nice mine was 1200 out the door with dros, tax 200 rds of ammo a one extra mag, and free range time. Looks like you got the better deal

Buy LOTS of ammo. And when out of state the 20 and 30 round mags are VERY fun!

congrats on the purchase. you'll love it. no recoil, flat shooting, throws a nice fireball out the muzzle (looks great in pix). most of my female friends love the gun. not sure if it's b/c they can shoot it well or b/c it's featured in battlestar galactica. probably the latter, as they shoot 9mm/45acp well, too.

fivesevenforum.com was the original site for all things 5.7x28mm. i think fnforum.net is also a good resource.

ammo is pretty good priced. i usually find it for around $17/50rd. then again, i bought in bulk and it was much cheaper. if you can, get the ss192/ss195 (same thing, just different primer) for plinking. forget the ss196/ss197.

elite makes quality stuff. you can't go wrong with it. wonder if they still do discounts for sending in brass.
