    Bersa 380

Getting a Bersa 380 tomorrow, thinking it's a bit better for concealment.

    Any thoughts? Reviews?

i have not owned one but have read numerous reviews comparing it to the Sig P230 (which i do own). the Bersa is considered to be a "best buy" .380 by many reviewers and owners alike. although the Sig typically wins out in the reviews, it is a much more expensive gun; it says much for the Bersa that it runs close in performance.... all that being said, why not consider a small subcompact 9mm for concealment? anywhoo, good luck with your purchase and from what i know you won't be disappointed with your Bersa.

I'm picking up the wife's tomorrow too. She got the black and gold one. I've heard nothing but good things. Was able to pick up 250 rounds from miwall at the gun show a couple weeks ago.

Bought one about a year ago and it's a sweet little weapon! You should really enjoy it! The price is awesome too for what you get. Paired up with a Fobus holster and it conceals nicely on my hip.

Thanks for the tip on the holster...I have a small frame so am worried about concealment as it is.

I'm new to gun ownership, only own an XD9 and Ruger 10/22 rifle so far...what would you suggest for subcompact 9mm?

Just read your last post and I thought I'd let you know that Ruger now has an SR9c! I have the regular sized Ruger SR9 and that thing is rock solid! The SR9c looks like a super nice gun too! Sorry to interrupt!!!

this question will bring folks out of their caves with enthusiasm; you may even want to start a separate thread on this; and by all means search the posts already attending to the subject. although i am a w german sig fan... i like the glock 26. it is a blocky little gun which may be what it is criticized for the most; but i like it. i owned one in the past and wish i had not sold it. do your homework and whatever you get... get to know that gun and how it functions. know what your gun is all about before the purchase....

I too bought the black/gold one for wife. It is a very good gun for the money. My only issue is with availability of ammo. It forced me to buy a lee handloader and components.

what's keeping me from buying a Bersa is the ****ty situation with .380 supply.

Hadn't been told that ammo is an issue....I usually buy at Walmart as so far they have the cheapest for 9 mm and .22

The wife 'stole' my Bersa from me, lol. Very nice pistol and it shoots well. No problem with getting .380 here in the Roseville/Rocklin area.

Yep, I like my Glock and XD just fine ... very well made and great pistols all around. I just like my standard SR9 better.

I was all set to buy a Glock 26 or Kahr PM9 as a carry piece, until I saw the announcement of the SR9C. I am glad I waited. The Glock 26 seems clunky and big by comparison. The Kahr PM9 is slim and small, but seems almost too much so. I also didn't really dig the DA trigger pull, although it is every bit as nice as any revolver to be sure ... very smooth, just didn't prefer the DA.

The SR9C is slim and fits sooo danged well in my hand. The trigger is beautiful. I get mine out of jail on 06-07-2010 ... open, open, open.

Bersa is good to go. As far as 380's go, its the best value around. The only criticism is Ammo...ammo...ammo... good luck with that one.
