I love my Sig P220ST. I have owned 6 different handguns so far, have had to cut back costs big time and I am down to only one... my Sig P220ST, what a great gun! Simply the most accurate gun I've shot.

Get it! They are great guns and if your interested enough to look at buying one, you probably will. +1 on the brown as well, its fun to mix things up and feel a little tactical sometimes.

      Cheers,
      Blake

When they first hit the States with an American mag release in 87 I bought mine.

Countless rounds down the pipe of all nature from mild to wild and 99.999% of them home cast home loads of all bullet weights and shapes, it has yet to malfunction.

        Get one.

Got into reloading and don't feel like having to do it for mulitple calibers till I get much better at the one I'm doing.

          Thanks.
Well, you've satisfied the 1911 requirement for a collection, so buy the Sig and enjoy! My older brother has a couple of 220s and he loves them!

Well, I have 4 1911s (series80 Gold cup,WWII A1, series70 govt and an early delta elite)/ all bought in the 80s. I got to the point that there just to valuable to wear out(not saying they dont get shot)12 years ago I bought a P226 ,9mm for my shooter(cheap ammo) well....I really luved it. Ended up buying a 220 to keep miles off the 1911s,AND LUV IT. Is it like a 1911...HELL NO....is it a great 45..HELL YES...Some day some Calgunner is going to be glad that i liked my 220 so much

worried about different ammo? I'd be worried about the controls being bassAckwards. The slide release and safety are swapped....

I've had two P220s a p220r and a P220 combat really nice pistols and really accuarate the only reason I sold my combat was because I purchased a sig 556 swat but before the year ends I'll buy another one for Christmas ha ha. So
                            dont hesitate in buying one

I was going to buy a sig p220r as a carry gun, but decided against it when I shot it. I couldn't shoot better than 2.5' beneath the paper @ 25 yards. I just flat could not get anything to shoot straight out of it. I went back to my subcompact XD9 and shot sub 6" groups at 25 yards.

I'm a Sig fan so +1 but I am not a .45 fan (prefer .40 and .357 SIG) but I understand why a lot like it and I cannot fault them for it--it's a personal thing. Hard to go wrong with a Sig. especially if alloy--non-poly.
