    Weird nightmare about guns...

I keep on having this nightmare... before I tell it to you guys, I will give you some background. I had a Glock 26 that had a #3.5 connector and everything polished up real nice. The trigger was the best trigger I ever felt on a Glock, that gun was stolen. So I got a new G19 to replace it, I have been busy and haven't had a chance to order any parts for it yet (night sights, #3.5 connector)

So the dream goes like this, I am not strong enough to pull the Glock factory trigger hard enough. The dream has some anxiety to it but nothing really clear, weird huh?

Lol gun dreams always get me! I always have the one that when I shoot at the bad guy, the bullets aren't aerodynamic enough, and they veer off course and miss him. Either that or I can't seem to get my hand out of the way of the bullet and keep grazing my own fingers.

Btw, don't read into it. Dreams don't mean anything other than your subconscious throwing memories around randomly.

Strange indeed, I've also had nightmares where I've had the same issue (Not physically strong enough to pull the trigger, or required all my strength to do it) during zombie outbreaks etc.

These dreams aren't about guns. There's something in your life that's frustrating you or making you feel helpless.

Yea, that makes a lot of sense. These types of dreams are pretty common (the trigger that's too heavy to pull). I think guns are just the medium your mind uses to express what's really going on. I still can't figure out why I dreamed about killing a guy with my Python. It's really weird stuff.

These gun failure dreams are typical over at GT.

I am not some head Dr., but here is the common take on these dreams- You are too paranoid, seriously. Stop thinking and worrying about the subject all day because it surfaces in your mind at night when you sleep. If I thought, stressed and worried about snakes all day long, I would dream about snakes at night.

Get some more training and confidence in your skills and equipment. STOP worrying about the subject and you wont have nightmares about it at night. Its that easy.

I too have had the trigger pull dreams! I thought I was the only one! I also have ones where I'm in war and my gun is only shooting 10 feet until the projectiles fall to the ground as everyone around me is shooting just fine and were running from building to building taking cover. The whole time i'm fiddling with the gun try to get it going. The trigger pull ones are horrable!
Rock out with your glock out!

I've never had the trigger pull dream, but it comes up on here quite a bit.

Mine always involves an invincible bad guy. I shoot the bad guy over and over but he never goes down. Eventually I run out of ammo and the dream ends. I haven't had that dream for years though. Those dreams definitely suck.
