    All I can say...19 rounds in the mag and 1 in the tube...sweetness

              You don't have to be LE to legally obtain one of these in California. Although, chances are that if one IS in California, it was most likely bought by a roster exempt individual and PPT'd off. Just the trend.

              Cal3gunner, check out Powder River Precision. I had one of their XD trigger kits and liked their product very much. They do other things for XDm's as well and their customer service is top notch.

                I happen to love my Xd, (not an M). The trigger loosens up after a few thousand shots. At least mine did.

                I think my next purchase will be an XDM .40. The 16+1 capacity in the .40 is pretty impressive.

                  Isn't that the only way, unless you move to CA with them and then declare them?

                  Also the 19-rounders are still illegal for anyone not LEO, no matter how the gun got into the state - correct?

                    They can also be obtained via intra-familial transfer. This is a good thread about it, there is a lot of good info on page one.


                    And, yes, you are correct. The 10-round civilian magazine capacity still applies, and no "assault weapons."
