I was taking my magazine for the first time, as I got the base-plate off, I forgot to catch the floor plate and spring ( I know, very newbie move). I had no problem finding the spring, but the floor plate is no where to be found. I put the magazine back together, minus the floor plate. It seems to function fine, but I am curious if the floor plate is that important? Should I spend many hours looking for the floor plate? Or will the magazine function fine without it? Thank you all in advance.

The floor plate should be in there. You can order a replacement from a number of online vendors. Here's one:http://glockparts.com/ They're only like 4 bucks or so."People crushed by law, have no hopes but from power. If laws are their enemies, they will be enemies to laws; and those who have much to hope and nothing to lose, will always be dangerous" - Edmund Burke (1777) -
Oh boy, sounds like I'm in for a treat! Another quick question then, I have a G23 mag I no longer use, can I use that floor plate for my G19 mag that is floor plateless? Thanks again guys.Comment
