    Quality 9mm on a budget

I mentioned in another thread that I was looking for a 9mm P series (Ruger) because they seemed to meet an important comprimise between quality and price. Someone else mentioned that there were other guns that were just as good at that price point. Anyone have any suggestions as to what those might be?

The 3 most popular are only a bit more money.

        Springfield XD, S&W M&P, Glock.

Get one slightly used and you are right at the Ruger price.

        Just a thought.

Springfield XD or Glock, for roughly $500 you cant go wrong

There's a good deal on Sigmas right now. And yes, S&W seems to have fixed the trigger issue (I tried a new one the other day and it didn't feel any harder than a Glock 22).

I tried a Sigma at a local store recently ... didn't seem like the trigger was all that bad. It felt like a very smooth revolver-type pull ... different, but not "awful" at all.

They're selling them for $319 (!!!) and S&W will give you 2 additional mags (for a total of 4) or a $50 rebate right now.

All reports say that the Sigmas are reliable and , so it seems like the value choice right now.

The great hunt for THE handgun. Check out CZ bud. There is the single action version and the sa/da, Both are great guns. Personally, I'd like a sp-01 with a SA trigger mod. They will out shoot most shooters.
Need Ammo Prices? Check the thread. If you have better prices and the link to the shop, let me know and I'll change things up. So far I only got pistol ammo~

Don't discount the Taurus PT-92. I've had 2 of these and both have been reliable and combat accurate.

XD9 and Glock19 are a little bit more but are rock solid choices. Save a bit more and get something you wont regret.

Don't forget to check out the FN FNP and maybe a slightly loved SIG P2022.

Used Glocks,XDs, and M&Ps can be found for relatively cheap as well

What about a hi-point c9? Mine goes bang every trigger pull. I wanted a budget 9mm but didn't have a whole lot to spend, spent most of it on my glock 21 and mossy 500.
