What's a "Jennings 9mm"? Do they mean Hi-Point?
How did the Iraqis get one?
How did the son bring one back?
How did the gun manage to violate the laws of physics?

If the batf is involved some good people. Will go to jail on made up parts in the gun.

i could see it cooking one or two off, but not "spewing bullets" like it was being fired by a poltergeist.. id think that the weapon would have a hard time chambering new rounds while spinning in circles from recoil... if this really did happen, let us all be reminded not to blast through a box of +p's, chamber a round for the old lady, then set the thing on the bench.

That's what I was thinkin'. Unload the gun and set it down. Let the next shooter load it for themselves.

Actually, the Raven (now Phoenix Arms) guns are on the CA Approved Handgun list.

Y'all may not know this, but one of the CGF gun rights lawyers is a member of the Jennings/Davis/Bryco family.

Makes me think twice before I go to the range next time. Now I gotta look around for people shooting pieces of shiet like a Jennings and if I see one, I'm gonna pack up and leave.

What are you guys talking about? The Jennings are great guns they are or were on the roster.

Regardless, a gun can not hit a person if it was never pointed at one. Even if a maulfunction, somone was loading a gun while aiming it at another person.

I'm thinking it was a stuck firing pin that made the gun go full auto.
It probably went something like this: inexperienced lady shooter chambered the first round and it went off without pulling the trigger, muzzle climbed up and lady lost handle of the gun and then the gun started pointing in all directions as the gun cycled through the rest of the magazine.
So I'm pointing at both mechanical error and person inexperience.
And I feel bad for that Irish guy... he probably came to the range having never shot a gun in his life and thinking wow America is great, I can own and shoot guns and then bam he gets shot in the throat!
