Wow! That longslide Glock 10mm looks nice. With the tighter chamber of the LW barrel it should be great with original 10mm factory loads.

You are not lunde. Lunde takes pics using a foo-foo blue silk thingy for his background. Evil impersonating doppleganger, you are!

      (Sweet pistol, btw. )

        Give us a range report.

I've bought a barrel from LWD, and it's a paper weight.

Glock barrels are actually more accurate from all the reports I've read. The only benefit to a LWD is the rifling which allows lead!

The chances of me shooting lead bullets through any of my semi-automatic handguns is somewhere between zero and none.

The other interesting option with LWD barrels is the 4 port version that matches the cutouts in the G20L slide. It's a fire breather but a lot of fun to shoot:

NICE! I have the 6" glock barrel and thought it looked funny sticking out. Now I have a slide to fit it

                      Nice!

You're just making the wait more agonizing!

I've got all of the parts backordered from LWD....I'm just waiting for the solid-top 20L slides. They were supposed to get some in the first batch, but the machine shop misunderstood what they wanted. Looks like none came in the second batch either. It's been a two year wait.....a couple of more weeks/months isn't going to hurt anything....In the meantime, I've been stockpiling 10mm components....just need to get out and start loading.

                      Congrats on the build!

I love your pistol and would like to build a similar one myself, but I have to make a point real quick....

Why is that so many object to hunting medium-sized game with a .223 yet many advocate hunting with a 10mm handgun? The external ballistics on the .223 are immensely superior to the 10mm. This just seems totally backwards to me. Please, prove me wrong here.

That means little or nothing. The wound cavity created by the .223 is significantly larger than that of the 10mm.

Haha that is what I was thinking because of the yawn of whatever it is called caused by the .223. Just throwing out the guess of bullet size.

True, but the 10mm is a .40 caliber, while the .223 is well, a .22.

Game animals aren't humans. Their bones and skin is usually a little tougher. While it's likely the .223 would do fine for all North American game, there are better alternatives.
