Glock 20L

One of my favorite pistols is the Glock 20 (10mm). Lone Wolf Distributors is now making a six-inch slide for the Glock 20, and the factory six-inch barrel, intended for hunting, fits it perfectly. I also installed AmeriGlo GL-121 night sights. The added heft and sight radius are likely to make this an even better shooter.

I just need to carve out some time to take this to the range.













(Actually, I left my Glock 20 alone. I have two of them, along with two Glock 20Cs. I have a Glock 21 that I haven't shot for years, and I decided to put the Glock 20L slide on its frame. The Glock 20/21 share the same frame and same frame internals. And, my Glock 21 frame has a factory 4.5lb connector installed, so its trigger is sweet.)

I have one of the early LWD German made longslides for the G21:



I use a Jarvis barrel, and once I sorted the recoil spring rate (lighter) the thing has run 100%.

Yeah, I know I have the ugliest right big toe in creation, it makes up the missing one next to it.

Yep. They refer to it as their hunting barrel, and have been selling it for years. Glock sells them direct for $150 plus shipping. The additional barrel length provides additional velocity for hunting purposes.

Nice. If you also ordered the guts for the slide, keep in mind that their page that lists the parts has an error for the Firing Pin Safety. Part #4536 is for .45 Auto and .45 GAP slides. Part #84 is for 9mm, .40 Auto, .357 Sig, and 10mm slides.

I am sorry Lunde but I honestly don't know what I am doing... What other parts do I need to order along with the slide (I already have the 6" Glock hunting barrel). Do I need everything on the "slide parts" page?

Just call Lone Wolf up, they are very helpful. They built this custom 10mm complete slide for my G21. I had them leave all the cheesy wolf logos off:

Pretty much, with the exception of ordering Part #84 instead of #4536, and the recoil assembly that you probably already have. See: http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Products.aspx?CAT=296

So they say you can run a glock 17L barrel on a glock 17....will it work the same for a regular glock 20 and the glock 20 6" barrel?
