Not sure what this will sell for in the real world but with a list price of $349, it will likely be at Turners for $329 or even $299 on sale. Round here, a new Glock anything sells for $549 or $599 depending on model so a lot more than $100 difference.

That $250.00-$300.00 savings would pay for a decent amount of practice ammo. My brother isn't hard up for cash, he makes pretty good money but with a large family, a new home, two dogs and in laws who have been going through major life changes, his gun fund has been very limited. I'm single so I buy whatever I want and can afford but when I was married, it was the same thing, between the ex and me, we made good money but I couldn't just buy any firearm I wanted. Home upkeep and improvement, kids sports, lessons, vacation fund, for a lot of people, they have to buy a less expensive gun simply because they aren't fanatics like we are and don't have a safe full of guns and they often have to work a firearms purchase into a pre-allocated amount of money.

Need to account for the fact that the price for a CA version of the S&W SD9 2.0 would be higher than the current production S&W SD9 2.0, due to the added cost of R&D and the manufacture/install of the CA required MDM and CLI.

Who has introduced more semiautomatic pistols and unilaterally discontinued the model or had a major upgrade to the model? Well, I don't know...

I had one of those. Very nice and reliable. I would definitely buy another.

You must have me confused with someone else. I'm not a "hater", I'm a realist. If you ask most people what a Glock looks like they will say a "block". Even most Glock owners will agree. Only those who have drank too much of the Kool-aid won't see it.

When asked what I think about Glocks, I will always tell them that I think they are good guns but they aren't for everyone. I pretty much leave it at that unless they ask me to elaborate on that.

It's just really fun to mess with Block Fan Boys. The Kool-aid have them off in another world dreaming about perfection.
            Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

You?re the one who brought up the Glock comparison though

Why is the SD9 not better than Ruger, Sig, HK, etc instead? Picking on Block, eh

I brought it up because like you posted earlier: Isn't it just a Glock clone? Why note compare it to what everyone thinks it is?
