    Sig P320

I been shooting 320's for a while now. Nice guns but somehow mine spend their time in the safe or at the range. I don't carry then. On or off duty
Do a lot of people use them for CCW ? Or mostly range , fun guns? Just curious.

I plan on carrying mine. If I don’t like it for carry I’ll just by a x5 legion kit and make it a proper range gun.

I regularly carry my M18 commemorative. I happen to really like the way it feels in my hand and I shoot it very well.

I don't carry either one of mine, they're strictly range toys.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

It depends on the day. My X5 is a little big to carry... but my compact isn't bad if in rolling my Pistol Wear holster. I'm going to try my new Echelon next week once I get to mounting my red dot . It's larger than my compact 320, so I'm R&D a new holster for UM Tactical. Should be interesting

Home defense and range, I don't carry any gun.

I have one on my CCW. I carry condition 3 though. I mostly carry a G48… still condition 3.

                Why carry at all?

Have you noticed the strikers fired in your time of carrying in condition 3?

I bought a 320 X5 Legion for USPSA and it has been a lemon that cannot group. Sig customer service seems to think it's fine by testing it at 10 yards. It will probably be the last Sig product that I buy as a result.

It is my everyday carry gun. Fits my frame well and I like the grip as it is always shooting in the black on the first draw round.

Not what I?m worried about (with the glocks anyhow). What I worry about is consistency in training, since I don?t train a ton, and the fact that people with wayyyyyyyyyy more hours in training than I will ever have, have had accidents.

If it doesn?t have a hammer, and a safety, or a hammer, and an LEM trigger I?m not carrying it chambered, because things happen.

Why the hell does the mobile app replace ‘ with ?

Zubba, you may want to consider that remembering to draw and operate a slide under extreme stress is a bit more complicated than manipulating a safety. Since you "don't train a ton", it becomes something of a question as to whether you'll actually get to the point of firing a round under stress. Given the nature of human reaction time, it's more likely that an assailant will be divesting you of your unfired firearm well before you can get a round chambered. If you don't believe me, get some snap caps, find an accommodating training partner and have them suddenly start towards you from 7 yards. I think you'll get the picture. Better to replace the 320 with a firearm you're more comfortable with carrying in Condition 1 or the DA/LEM equivalent.

BTW, it's one of the reasons why I don't carry my Canik - light trigger pull combined with fully cocked striker action doesn't make me comfortable, either. It's also one of the reasons why I don't carry either of my 320s.

Not picking on you, just an observation from decades of training myself and others to act under stress.

I totally respect the position, and I do constantly assess how I carry, but for now I'm comfortable with condition 3.
