    Stipling

What should I expect on cost of having it done? Does it void warranty?

I used Dragon Claw Design and it was about $200 or so. Glock 19 Gen 3 - removed the finger grooves, did a single undercut, and stippled.

As static said, $200-400 average to have it done. I'm sure it would void the warranty.

I wonder if this would void the warranty?

          Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Imo it is well worth stippling. Talon grips will shift if you shoot a ton (10k+ a year). I am fine with talons on a comp gun but not a fan on carry gun.

Wood burner is best way to home stipple

Stippling wears down as well in that timeframe if shooting comp a lot. Not much material left if one wants to touch up or re-stipple.

With talons, you can remove and reapply. Likely if one is shooting that much, the cost of talons is likely not an issue.

But as always, to each their own and YMMV.

Can always add more material by melting more on (what I tend to do). Generally stippling can be touched up unless you go super deep

My one stippled gun is an old school tti g35 rts package and the reshaping of the grip is really nice

I had talons on my duty xd9. Within a month, the edges peeled up. I know, my fault as I carry exposed for work. Just sucks. Made the edges peel up and become jagged. Ended up peeling it off. It's from getting in and out of my crown vic and buckling my seatbelt
"It is currently CA legal to modify a double-action revolver into a single-action revolver and modify a single-action revolver into a double-action revolver.

CA DOJ BOF stance on modifying handguns only applies to dimensionally compliant bolt-action single-shot pistols and dimensionally compliant break-open single-shot pistols.
^It does not apply to revolvers, manually operated repeating pistols, and semi-auto pistols." ~~ Quiet
