The recent Sig P320 X-Ten seems to be reliving the same problems the Bren Ten was dealing with in regards to bad mags.

The Bren Ten didn't have bad mags as much as NO mags.

Does anybody out there own a Bren Ten? What are your thoughts on it? It?s a pretty iconic firearm and was the firearm of choice for sonny Crockett in Miami Vice.

I know they are very collectible now

Crockett also used a 645 and a 4506...those are a lot cheaper.

This one is the ultimate collector's set. It's being listed by Dirty Bird Industries in Bakersfield. They currently have it listed as not CA compliant. I just texted the owner to let him that this is C&R and hopefully they will change the listing and open it up to some deep pocket Californian.

Eh, not really. The Bren Ten is a work of art. They probably would've raised prices if it took off in popularity. They might have been selling them for no profit at the start.

The fit and finish on mine was not great. Plus, it had a bunch of the now common lettering all over it. And having the detents for the ambi safety without the lever bugged me as a lefty. It was cool looking, but not presentation quality. Wouldn't have mattered if it ran, which it didn't. I made money on it though.
