These are gonna be bought by virtue signaling libs. Put in a drawer and forgotten about. Then years later they'll be needed, and the battery will be dead. Just like the owner.

And with weak electric infrastructure to boot...told not to run a/c or charge EV's on hot days, charged higher rates for "peak" hours. Cali is a running joke.

                Yep, noted!!

I could almost see the need for this when reading news about officers who had their gun taken away from them by bad guys and shot with it, but this should be an option and not mandated by that antis

On the website they claim it will be for sale in all 50 states. I wonder if they already have some under-the-table deal with Cal DOJ to get it on the roster?
Dr. Goldstein showed us the way. We dropped the ball. Pick up the ball.

Of course! And then CA would use that as an excuse to make it a roster requirement.

On very first promotional video they advocating to have loaded gun in easy access to anyone in the house, including underage kids. If I am not wrong (correct me pls) this is against the law in CA for sure. Law doesn't specify if gun has some crappy system. Law is Law and company broke law already. Also, in CA you have confirm age before access web site which firearm content. So, looks like they already broke two laws. Can we sue them?
On video two former Navy Seals are promoting this crap.

Yeah, I've made that point about the roster before.

Imagine that hypothetically, this works every time, flawlessly, and you've decided as a non-gun person that you want to buy this gun and buy it in California. Well ... you still have to buy a safe or a gun-lock, by CA law, then the roster prevents you from having it. In fact even if a magic gun were invented that only shoots badguys, we can't buy it.

We are not allowed guns with new technology. Only what seemingly random guns happened to be on the roster a decade ago.

The only way it would be allowed on the roster is if it electronically transferred $1 to Gavin Newsome everytime you fired it.

Or if the courts finally trash the roster. And I'm really hoping that the presence of this gun makes some idiots think "Hmm, maybe we should remove the roster and encourage people to buy this", because there are some off roster guns I'd really like, and not this thing.

As an OPTION I don’t see an issue. If someone really wants to bet their life on that thing, I say go for it.
The problem is that some loon is Sacramento will attempt to mandate the technology be forced on everyone whether they like it or not.

                                "Options" implies FREEDOM of Choice.

The problem with 'freedom' is that it, by definition, tends to call for more of the same and that does not compute when one's thinking is where the Left's is.

Put it this way, if you have FREEDOM of Choice, it becomes more difficult for them to dictate what your choice must be and that creates a conundrum for those on the Left.
