Full size 9mm under $1000

Hey fellas, I'm looking for a full size 9mm, on roster. I like the Berreta m9 or 92 and I'd love to find a 1911 but I don't think there's one on the roster under 1k..

What do you think?

FWIW, I have a G26 and a Ruger PCC in 9mm..

Sig P226- Good enough for Navy Seals, good enough for me...
Glock 17- OMG don't get me started on the Honda Civic of the gun world... (and you can put a G34 slide on it too from Zafirri Precision or elsewhere if you want...)
HK- USP- Get Expert or go home. I am still waiting for my Merkle tuning weight to show up for my 45 Elite... This is more like an Acura Integra.
FN- FNX Tactical- Oh, wait, You said ON roster...
SIG- P320 Might fit the bill. You can get them SSE still and you can change them from sub compact to full size all day long and everything in between... Plus they feel great. They are the Nissan Z of the guns.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot the Beretta. The Toyota Turbo Camry of the group. Nice, stylish, engineered and built to last a while. 2A Zone/ Bullseye Sport in Riverside had some of those but I did not see the prices.
I have the centurion model, runs great. Ate up everything the XD did not want to shoot...

the usual suspects are :
1. Sig P226,
2. Beretta 92 or 92 Inox ( hard to find at the moment), or
3. Glock 17 which you can share mags with your other Glock and Ruger PCC.
4. HK p2000, the only HK on roster, but it is a compact, not full size. HK VP9 is off roster, but very popular and easy to find in CA. Might be had for about $1k or something like that.
5. CZ75, but it is more like a SAO with second strike capability ( no decocker, have to carry like a 1911). CZ PCR is a good choice, but it is compact sized.

There are a few others but these are the easy choices. Personally, I think Beretta 92 is the most handsome of the bunch.

Go fondle a G34. I think you'll like it.

You can drop an after market 9mm barrel into a G35 or other .40 Glock but you can't go the other way. Extended "racing" mag release on G34/35 can self activate in soft holster sitting in car and/or by handling until you get used to it, but I'm pretty sure can be swapped out for normal. Nothing like an unplanned mag drop in Qualification shoot.

Don't overlook full size single stack 1911 in 9mm. Takes 10rd mag so unless you got Freedom Week mags already for some unbought gun you wont be giving up anything but will gain 1911 coolness and ergometrics.

How about a Browning Hi-power? Also an old obsolete design that will pinch the web of your hand with every shot. It even has Browning in the name.

The Beretta really stands out to me. I'd consider a Hi-power if I could find a nice one under 1k. The prices of those guns are all over the place.
