We've reached the point where the manufacturers have ran out of radical new ideas so they iterate away to fill micro niches with essentially small variations of existing products. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but it's certainly not much to get excited about.

In nearest future they will be in race to catch Sig Sauer. But I do not think it is possible without modular design.

The CSX is fine if you like 1911 style operation. But that triple trigger reset is a no go for me. A pistol should have a single distinct trigger reset.

I hope the aftermarket trigger companies jump all over the CSX to fix that problem.

The entire market for the whole EZ line is that they are easy to rack.

Ahh, so true. I forgot about the magazines as that wasn't ever even remotely an issue for my wife. I also always dismissed 380 as well...cuz well, 380 - lol. Snappier than a 9mm and less effective.

My wife can run a full-size gun all day long for days on end...but we have yet to find a sub-compact that she can. She also prefers a red-dot...absolutely loves to shoot my Shield Plus Performance Center. This might be the perfect carry gun for her...her goto full size is an M&P Performance Center PC (4.25) with an RMR.

LOL, a carry gun is a disposable tool. I'd rather pay less than have it be pretty. I'll save pretty for BBQ guns. Now, not gonna lie I edc a Chris Reeve, but I also use it 15 times a day. My EDC hopefully I'll never use, but if i do it's going to be gone one way or the other and it's concealed anyway. Are people showing off their edc pieces so much that they like them to be pretty?

$600 MSRP so you’re real close to CA price.

These aren't designed for "gun guys" these are designed for new shooters who just want a gun that goes bang and they can easily rack. The customer for this gun will see the added safety features as a big plus, and for them this will be a deciding factor between this and other micro 9s. They'll buy it, put 50 rounds through it, or less, and probably forget they own it after 3-4 years

Doubt they’d forget they own it because they’d be carrying it
Why buy THAT if one’s not carrying?
