I'll stick with my shield plus. 13+1, no grip safety and I'm not a fan of the big equalizer branding on the slide.

Looks like a fine little carry pistol. However, I don't see how it does anything (significant) that the Shield series doesn't already do. For concealed carry, and especially pocket carry, I wouldn't use an optic, because it'd bulk up the gun.

So many new models coming around...so little good reason for most of them, as far as I can tell....

This is the next iteration of Smiths "EZ" guns. I believe because of how they're sprung they need some form of an additional safety...so they don't inadvertently go boom.

EZ style gun. Internal hammer, not striker fired. "EZ"er for folks to manipulate the slide, etc.

Being bigger than the competition hurts it. But I suspect it will still be a big hit with women because of the EZ configuration and light slide spring.

If it works out to be reliable, robust, and reasonably accurate, I’m sure it should sell. As more of America turns to concealed carry, this will add another option.
