I read that over 15 people are suing SIG. over their P320 shooting a round off with nothing pressing the trigger. A real auto that goes off by itself. BE Careful out their with this Pistol.

SIG P320

Never had that happen with mine
Could be just careless people, or people looking for a money grab
I hear Sig just won some big military contracts. Cha-Ching!"To preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms, and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them" - Richard Henry Lee

Here is a recent story about a smoking hot Texas detective lady who got shot near her lady parts. The claim is that the gun was in a holster in her purse. I am very curious if the holster was absolutely the correct model for her particular P320, because the gun went off as she was manipulating her purse.
It doesn't matter if the gun is holstered - if the gun can move about in the holster and something can get into the trigger guard area, it can still go off in a holster when the trigger is pulled.Last edited by SkyHawk; 08-26-2021, 1:09 PM.Comment

Yeah I read about that, and it was in a Serpa holster apparently. Looking for a 15M payout or something along those lines. Here is a recent story about a smoking hot Texas detective lady who got shot near her lady parts. Interesting how everyone automatically assumes these are crooks looking for a payout.
Anyone who's owned a Sig knows they basically let the buying public test their firearms and then they recall or come out with gen2 that fixes all the problems. It happened with the MCX, P365, Cross, etc.Last edited by sfvshooter; 08-26-2021, 2:03 PM.Too many rifles, not enough time...Comment

Not a cash grab, well maybe a cash grab, but there's also a real problem with the P320 trigger. They've been recalled once, and that fixed some of the problems, and on the US Army pistols the added thumb safety generally took care of the rest of the issues with the trigger. However, all standard P320s still run a significant risk of AD, I'd be surprised if Sig doesn't either stop production on the standard safety-less version, or introduce a trigger safety like Agency's p320 trigger has.Comment

But a lot of people suing Sig never dropped their guns though.
Back when the P320 was first introduced, IIRC a factory trigger with tab safety was one of the parts shown in their lego parts lineup, but I don't think it ever saw the light of day.Not a cash grab, well maybe a cash grab, but there's also a real problem with the P320 trigger. Thumb safety was always a requirement of the military trials/contract. It wasn't added to the M17/18 as an afterthought. Reports don't say whether all or some of the guns in suits were post- or pre-recall. Thousands sold and only 15 law suits? I'm inclined to say bad training, bad holsters/holstering and ND.Not a cash grab, well maybe a cash grab, but there's also a real problem with the P320 trigger. They are all pre-recall. The worst holstering method in the world doesn't make a trigger go off by itself, but faulty design does.Thumb safety was always a requirement of the military trials/contract. Decent size knockers.
I'll pay for shipping.
Just send those unsafe P320s to me too.
