Ok, now 2 people have posted pics of Sig 556 pistols! Where are you finding them for sale in CA? I haven't seen them anywhere!

Believe it or not actually got it from someone on Gun Broker. Had to look around for a while and reach out to a lot of the sellers on there but finally found one within reason. Definitely better than the prices you'll find for people selling there here.

Since the Sig 556 Pistol is sold as a handgun, does it require a bullet button? Is there anything that needs to be done to it to make it CA legal?

It does require a BB otherwise it's an AW.
Also, you'll need to have it registered as an single shot pistol on the 4473 so it's exempt from the roster regulations. So it'll need to have the BB installed and a Single shot sled installed when it's registered.

When you take it home you can swap it back to a 10 shot mag.

                      Kel-Tec PLR-16

This is my Kel-Tec PLR-16. It's chambered for 5.56mm, and it takes AR mags. It has a Red Lion Precision aluminum forend, as well as their custom trigger. I also installed a Thunderbolt SU-16 Bullet Button from Parallax Tactical , and a 10/20 PMag from Sacramento Black Rifle for compliance... It's as fun to shoot as it looks, and maybe a little more. The FH is a KX3, and the foregrip is pinned in the horizontal position, so as not to create an AOW...

                      Thanks for looking...
