The Evil Pistol Thread. . .

Here's a couple of my evil pistols:

The one on the bottom is an AK pistol that I built from a flat as a single shot pistol, and then converted to "multi-shot." It has a 10/30 magazine and a bullet button.

The one on the top is a Cobray PM-11 pistol that I recently DROS'ed as a single shot, dimensionally compliant pistol. It's been converted back to "multi-shot." Since it has no evil features, it doesn't need a BB.

Nice guns, but how are those AKs classified as pistols?? Is it because its been so neutered of its AW features that people refer to them as pistols instead of CA legal AWs?

They are pistols because they were built up as pistols, with receivers that had never had a shoulder stock attached. See, once the stock goes on, that reciever is forever a rifle.

Note that those AK pistols are not AWs even though they do have "evil" features. But because they run a fixed mag of no more than 10-rounds, they are exempt from the AW regs, and can have evil feaures such as; magazine outside the grip, barrel shrouds, threaded barrels, and VFGs (vertical forward grip if you do the federal AOW paperwork.).
